Full-time, in-office assistant @ $25/hr x 40 hours per week = $48,000 per year on salary alone. Then you must factor in health insurance, taxes, etc., @ approximately 30-40% of salary and that is a total of $68,000 per year, not to mention the less obvious expenses like office overhead, sick and vacation pay, and non-productive personal time spent at the office.
Working with a Virtual Assistant you don't pay for health insurance benefits, office equipment expenses, sick leave or vacation pay, or personal time spent at the office. The Virtual Assistant bills only for the time spent actually working on your project. Consider the same yearly expense for a Virtual Assistant: $35/hr x 20 hours per week = $33,600 per year.
Projects are accepted on an individual basis. I will not accept a project I do not think I can handle or give an unrealistic expectation of a completion date. If I am not able to handle the project I may be able to give some alternative avenues for you to try.
